Lynn's Godson's Quilt - Quilted

We have shown this quilt before but now it is quilted. Lynn did a wonderful job of quilting on the Handi Quilter 16. She elected to quilt around the stars on her home sewing machine. Her godson has worked long and hard for his degree and so did Lynn on the quilt. Great job Lynn.

Mary's First Long Arm Quilt Project

Mary R. enjoyed her first ever long arm quilting project and it is a beauty!!! She made this from a PMS block exchange (Please Make Some) at her guild and then put the blocks together in log cabin pinwheels. She quilted it here at Woodland Quilts using the Handi Quilter 16. What a great job and I think you can tell she is pleased!!!

Lynn's Religious Creation

Lynn's godson is going to be ordained as a deacon. Lynn made him this beautiful quilt as a commerativie of that event. It is a panel, cut apart, and each individual panel is made into the middle of a star. Lunn used lots of purple and green and each star has a significant prayer or religious symbol. What a beautiful keepsake, I am sure he will love it!!! Nice job Lynn!!!

Amy Butler's Frenchy Bag

This is a wonderful tote bag!!! It has a several pockets and a snap so you won't lose all your stuff. It is a convenient size and just right for every day use. Deb made this bag for us and we can't get enough of it. The fabric is the Clara line from P and B. What a great mixing of color and design.

Carmella's Great Buy

Carmella picked up this quilt in Shipshawana, Indiana during a tour of the Amish country there. She saw the quilt and had to have it, and I am sure we all understand. It is a version of the Card Trick block but all the "cards" are done with log cabins. it is one of the most beautiful quilts we have ever seen and it is all hand quilted. When asked how much she paid for it Carmella replied "You don't want to know." And so she is correct, we don't. We just love to admire it. What a thing of beauty!!! We love it.

Nancy Does It Again

A stroke of genius, that's what this is. Nancy made this quilt top for her granddaughter and it is beautiful. Her great selection of beautiful aisian fabrics just makes this so special. The quilt top is a great big nine patch with each patch being a little art quilt in and of itself. Wow. Lucky granddaugher to have such a talented grandmother. Thanks for inspiring us Nancy!!!

Brian's Quilt Genius

This quilt top finished by Brian is a work of art. He made a wallhanging into a quilt big enough for the bed and he chose the blocks so well that no one can even tell it was supposed to be a smaller version of what you see here. Great job Brian. Batiks are his forte' and he does it so well. We love this quilt. All of us watched the making of it and it turned out just perfectly. Way to go Brian!!!
