Progress on Lynn's Tote

Yesterday I made some more progress on Lynn's Tote from Terry Atkinson's book, Let's Do Lunch. I sewed the pocket on the outside of the bag and put the bag body together. I first sewed the pocket on and then sewed the bag with the Wrong sides together.

Then turned the bag inside out, sewed the side seams again; this makes for some nice finished seams on the inside of the bag.

I formed a triangle at the bottom edges of the bag and made a baggy bottom, like the bottom of a paper lunch bag. I sewed 2 1/2 inches in on this particular bag.

As you can see, it is now ready for the top binding and the handles. Class is tomorrow; gotta go and make those handles!!!
